Every member can file a report with the Syntaxia team directly from the chat. Each report becomes a ticket with a public ID, and everyone in your organization can follow its status in Settings > Feedback.

Before you start

Reporting has to be enabled for your workspace. An owner links the workspace to Syntaxia’s support desk in Settings > Organization. Until that link exists, the /support command and the Report a problem button are visible but disabled, with the hint “Reporting isn’t active for this workspace yet”. Contact support@syntaxia.com if you need reporting turned on.

File a report

1

Open the form

In the chat composer, type /support and press Enter, or click the report icon next to the composer. The chat window switches to the Report a problem form.
2

Pick a type

Choose Bug, Friction, or Idea. Bug is the default.
3

Describe it

Give the report a short title and describe what happened. Both fields are required.
4

Attach a screenshot (optional)

Click Mark region to capture part of the page, or Capture page for the whole viewport. You can remove the preview before sending. Screenshots must be PNG, JPEG, or WebP and under 10 MB.
5

Submit

Click Submit report. The form is replaced by a confirmation showing the ticket ID, such as FB-42, and its status.
The report records the page you were on when you filed it, so you do not need to describe where you were. You receive a confirmation email once the ticket is filed. If the submission fails, for example because the support desk timed out, the form comes back with everything you typed so you can try again. Each member can file up to ten reports every three minutes.

Track reports

Open Settings > Feedback to see every report filed by anyone in your organization, newest first. The list shows the ticket ID, title, type, status, who filed it, and when. Click a row to see the full description, the page it was reported from, and the screenshot if one was attached. Status moves as the Syntaxia team works the ticket. Status updates arrive automatically. You do not need to refresh or ask for them.
