Syntaxia has no passwords. You sign in with a passkey when you have one on the device, and with a one-time email code when you do not. Both start the same session.

Sign in with a passkey

1

Open the sign-in page

Go to app.syntaxia.com. If you have a passkey on this device, your browser offers it right away, in the email field or through the passkey button.
2

Confirm with your device

Approve with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your device PIN. You are signed in.

Sign in with an email code

1

Enter your email

Type your email address and continue. Syntaxia sends a 6-character code to that address.
2

Enter the code

Type the code on the verification page. It is single use and expires after 15 minutes. Use Resend if it has not arrived.
3

Save a passkey

On a device with no passkey yet, Syntaxia asks Save a passkey for next time?. Accept to skip the email step next time, or skip and continue.

New to Syntaxia? Choose Sign up on the sign-in page, verify your email with the same code flow, then enter your name and your organization’s name. You become that organization’s owner. To join an organization someone else created, use the invite link they send you instead.

Manage your passkeys

Open Settings > Profile. The Passkeys card lists every passkey on your identity, labeled by the device that created it. Add, rename, or remove them there. Passkeys belong to you, not to an organization, so one passkey signs you in everywhere you are a member. For how the two mechanisms work and why there are only two, see Authentication.
